'Slim' looked and acted like a young Jimmy Stewart

Probably no relation, but the resemblance is there.

Me too!!! The first time I saw this film which was late at night, I had to do a double take before I realized that it wasn't Stewart.

He really looked nothing like Stewart at all...except the eyebrows a bit. However, his VOICE was similar to that of Stewart. They had a somewhat similar timbre and cadence.

The way he was "goshing" and "geeing" one couldn't help but think Slim reminded one of Jimmy.

In some of his films i have seen I thought he WAS Jimmy. I would even chech film credits to make sure. He could have passed for a brother. Such a close resemblance.
