On TCM, May 4th, 2008, at 9 p.m. Eastern!!!!!!

TCM will show this rare musical gem on Sunday, May 4th, 2008, at 9 p.m. Eastern, as part of a month-long Sinatra tribute!!!!

The last time I got to watch this movie was in 1979 when it was broadcast on WSIU-TV, a PBS affiliate in Carbondale, IL. It was the old "Movie Theater" hosted by Southern Illinois broadcast legend Erv Coppi.

I was only 12 years old and tape recorded parts of it by placing my Panasonic cassette recorder in front of the TV. Not many folks, at least the folks I knew, had VCR's back then (that all changed a couple of years later).

It's been nearly 30 years. I still listen to my old audio cassette of it now and then. Man, am I looking forward to seeing it again!
