The best shared laugh in the history of film...

Millie and Peggy have just finished putting Fred and Al to bed. They come out and say goodnight to each other, and then just laugh. They laugh at the events of the night they were witness to. And it is spontaneous, and the absolute most appropriate shared laugh in film. Love it.

True. Touches like this make it seem so real, not a
"Hollywood Film" but more like how it would actually occur.

Homer, you are awesome, because it's really, really true. That was an amazing shared laugh.

Another good shared laugh in another movie years later is more of a shared smile but it's brilliant in the drive-in exploitation RACE WITH THE DEVIL when Lara Parker and Loretta Switt share a smile when the latter makes a quip about their men being fine outside in the night since booze doesn't freeze.

But for sure, this shared laugh in Best Years is the best, ever, ever. Great call.

This movie has that playing on a loop potential because of such moments.
