"I'm not THAT Peggy!"

In one of the scenes where Fred is drunk and he's hitting on Peggy, she says something like, "I'm not THAT Peggy!" Was she referring to a specific celebrity of the time, or was she trying to say that she isn't some babe named Peggy whom he picked up in a bar? Just curious.

I think it was the latter: Anonymous Peggy he met at a bar.

Thanks. That's what I had suspected.

No, I don't even think it referred to another actual Peggy. I think it was just an expression, a slightly comic (under the circumstances) way of fending off his drunken advances without being too serious about it (instead of saying, "I'm not that girl" or something generic). I never got the impression she had somehow hit on Fred having had an experience with another woman of the same name.

Hmm...interesting interpretation! Thanks for that!
