Poor Mr. Parrish

I love the scene where Wilma shows Homer that she'll be just fine when they are married.

But it always leaves me thinking about Homer's poor Dad, who is waiting for Homer to ask him for his help in getting to bed.

I know -- it's a movie. I can suspend my disbelief, or just imagine that Mr. Parrish could hear Wilma and Homer from his room, or got up later and checked in to find out why Homer never came to get him.

I just can't help that initial thought of "wait -- somebody tell Dad!"
