Worst John Wayne War movie?

I have always believed this was one of the worst movies ever made by John Wayne. Taking aside all the historical and military untruths the plot is terrible and the characters are wooden.

In contrast I think the Flying Tigers is a good movie, though historically wrong, and with a believable love triangle.

Any other nominations?

The Green Berets, of course.

I agree that it is not good, but it has a few moments. The problem I have with the movie is it two in one. The movie should have ended with the fight at the fire base adn expanded it a little bit from there.

Also, great song. Though the Seabee song is pretty good in the Seabees movie.

Back to Bataan may have been pretty inaccurate too.

I saw three dusters...inside the dusters were three men, inside the men were three bullets.

I'd have to give The Green Berets the title of worst Wayne war film and this runner up.

It was passable. It was more focused on the romance first and action 2nd. I'm a Susan Hayward fan so that didn't hurt.

No I found this to be just as enjoyable as the other ones.
