A sad day. They've given their reasons, but I don't see it. Part of the appeal is coming to this message board and reading, and commenting on, old threads.

shareThere was too much riffraff on the old IMDB boards. Flaming, trolling, hateful and bigoted posts would remain there for years and years.
Good riddance, I say. At least on moviechat.org, we can start anew.
You are so right LivingMCM. There were far too many people using the boards to start political arguments and just to be nasty. I hope that doesn't happen here. It spoilt it all for people who just wanted to share their passion for movies with other enthusiasts.
