Where's Mickey Mouse now?

I'm watching this cartoon on youtube now, it's been over a decade since I last saw it. Now the first time I saw it was on a VHS I rented, "DONALD'S SCARY TALES". And there was a scene at the beginning after the radio announces the gorilla has escaped. He panics, shoves a chair under the front door handle, and grabs agun, saying "a killer." This happens right before we get to Donald and his nephews.

But in the youtube cartoon he's not there. This a alternate opening scene, or was it just on the VHS?

That scene was just on the VHS tape "Donald's Scary Tales". "Donald's Scary Tales" was part of a series of videos Disney put out called "Walt Disney Cartoon Classics", and on those tapes, in between the cartoons, there would be scenes from other cartoon, but with re-dubbed dialogue to act as a sort of "teaser" for the cartoon that was about to be shown.

Good to know I'm not just remembering imaginary things. I used to like that DONALD'S SCARY TALES tape.
