The very lovely Acquanetta's performance?

I love these old Inner Sanctum Chaney movies and they hold up well BUT, I just watched Dead Man's Eyes and Acquanetta's performance was so stiff and cardboard like it made me laugh at times. She did scream well at one point but compared to all other actors holding up the ship she seemed very ill equipped. I haven't seen her other movies so I hope they are better but this role/performance is seriously lacking for an old Universal B movie.
