oh boy..time to break into Curse of the Cat People again!

...THis has become one of my favorite seasonal Christmas films over the years..altho its good anytime really..
I've been fascinated by this film since seeing it in high school in the 70s..
The headless Horseman story still makes me pee my pants! =:oO
and Amy,Irena,Mrs. Farron and her daughter Barbara are 4 of the saddest "lonely hearts" to ever grace the Screen..Also one of the few films I know to capture that stage in youth when ones imaginary friend, tho one might not openly admit it, is often a mother figure..All the Val Lewton's are excellent, but this one holds a special place...Check out director,Robert Wise's later film "The Haunting",his tribute to his days at RKO with Val Lewton..
