Anyone else think a young Dick was watching Rita's performance in the Pearly Kings and Queens segment and taking notes? It's unfair that Dick gets all the plaudits for his phenomenal Cockerny accent, when Rita had him beat by some twenty years. Dick.

I don't know of any "plaudits" that van Dyke received for his Cockney accent, in fact, I recall his being vilified for it.

You know, of course, that it wasn't Rita's voice singing.
