Are these sets left over from some Indian Movie ? Would they go to all that trouble trouble to make them for a South Seas/volcano movie ? Ah, the magic of Hollywood.

Sets got recycled all the time during this period. This adventure film 'GREEN HELL' had a gigantic set for an Inca temple setting but it got reused for some Mummy film released the same year.
