What The Catholic Church Threw Away

I wish all Catholics could see the Christmas Mass scene in this film. This was an ordinary urban cathedral service as it was before Vatican II. All across America and the world this reverence and splendor was the NORM. Note how the persons around her when she breaks down crying look to see if something is wrong and then leave her to her private grief with God. No happy-clappy enforced 'participation'. It is heartbreaking what was thrown away.

It's all BS superstition, however they go about it.

Agree. vatican II was a great mistake. A catholic church service nowadays is just like a watered down Anglican service.
