shareI used to have a video with this short on it I watched it regularly when I was little, when I saw passion of the jew on south park I almost immediately recognized the gags from this cartoon, when ever stan and kenny opened a door mel gibson came out with a different costume similar to this cartoon.

My taste runs more towards the Marvin the Martian shorts, such as Duck Dodgers in the 24th and a Half Century.
But then, I've never cared for the Daffy Duck character...

The best scene in this cartoon is when Daffy impersonates Carmen Miranda. He looks so cute and funny in that blue dress. And he does a good job dancing and singing like her in a daffy way.

Hmm, the first post in two years... Kind of strange. Anyhow, I pretty much agree. This is definitely my favourite Daffy Duck episode and considering that Daffy Duck is my favourite character in Looney Tunes and Looney Tunes is one of my favourite cartoon series, that's pretty high up in my mind. I'm not sure which would be the very best cartoon short myself, but this definitely enters my top ten. :)
