Did Anyone Else Notice the Gary Cooper Cameo?

At the beginning of the film, when Katherine Grayson and Gene Kelly stand together watching everyone kiss before the train leaves, the film cuts to a very quick cameo of Gary Cooper kissing some actress. I'm curious if anyone knows who she is? I assume she was famous also, perhaps the co-star of the latest film with Coop.
