They used the real exterior for 957 West Adams

I noticed the address 957 West Adams in the want-ad for the housekeeper, and they repeated the address when the telegram was delivered.

I used to live in that neighborhood and checked online maps to see where that would have been. 957 West Adams is an apartment building now.

But here's the weird part. I found a photo of the house that used to be at 957 West Adams, and it's the same house they used for the exterior of the house in the movie.

It was only one shot, but they had the rugs they were going to be beating hanging in the front yard. So it's not like they just did a quick drive-by to get a shot.

I just find it odd that the address would be featured the way it was in the movie, and that they house they used for the exterior really was at that address.
