MOST STIRRING LINE IN CIMEMATIC HISTORY !!!

The most stirring line in cimematic history was delivered in this
movie: "Nazis take Boy? ... Now Tarzan ... MAKE WAR !!!"

Oh yeah! You knew the nazis were gonna hit the fan in short order....They should have just dropped Tarzan in to Germany and just sat back and waited until he was done....

The point is you don't want to pi$$ off people that know how to open up a BIG can of Whup-A$$.

Cimematic history? Right up there with Adorph Hitrel's canoe trips to Dizzyworld.

Let it be unsaid: insignificance is the locus of true increpation.

With Tarzan, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Sherlock Holmes fighting the Nazis, why did it take us so long to win?

Well, the Nazis were tricky little bastards . . .

It must seem incredibly odd to young people today that the studio would invent a lost white civilization instead of using a true native society. While it would have derided and ridiculed the Nazis to have them bested by a minority race, showing black people in a favorable and sympathetic life would most likely doom the studio, the participants' careers, and at the very least, lose money.

Well, I think it may be because they had to make it plausible that the Nazis would at first appear to make friends with the village, which if the citizens were black, they probably would never do. They'd just start enslaving them. Also, there was the use of Frances Gifford to connect Tarzan with the village, so they had to make them white. Or so it seems to me.

I read in a book on Tarzan films that Weissmuller delivering the line "Now Tarzan make war!" brought audiences to their feet cheering. I can see why. I'd have loved to see it. If they'd remake this movie today with terrorists in place of Nazis, I'm betting there would be cheers again when Tarzan says the line. (It's also probably Weissmuller's best job of acting in his whole career!)

Believe it or not, there are times when I've finally decided to take radical action on a matter that I say to myself, "Now Tarzan make war!" It's just one of my favorite movie lines to quote!
