Thought I'd post something here about this movie. There were no other posts and the IMDb rating is only 5.8 as of this writing. Well, I enjoyed this movie and feel it deserves a better rating than that. Don't let the low rating convince you to not watch it. If you like romantic comedies (this isn't very heavy on comedy, but it fits that category) then you will probably like this WWII rom-com.

I thought it was a cute movie - maybe a "fluff" piece by today's standards - but still, it made me think back to what WWII was really like on the home front, and what the average "Rosie the Riveter" went through to work in a defense factory job.

Notice that the aircraft plant Maisie worked in was located in Burbank, which was (and is) the home of Lockheed Aircraft.
