Stage Door is a great wartime flick.

I love this old gem I got my copy at the Dollar Tree for a dollar i damaged my copy and got the second copy for 50 cents I can't tell you how inspiring this film is even 66 years later I love this kind of effort on the part of civilians and wonder why there's, no Canteen's today for military men. If I had the money and influence I would open a place like this for the soldiers for morale. Anyway all the cameos were very special Katherine Hepburn ,Selena Royale, who starred in another favorite wartime flick of mine The Fighting Sullivans, I never knew Edgar Bergen was so funny one of my favorite songs from the era 'Why don't you do right" by Benny Goodman and Peggy Lee, Ray Bolger, Harpo Marx, the reciting of Romeo and Juliet by Katherine Cornell and California touching , I just watched it last night I never get tired of watching this very special film.
