You're most welcome VincentPriceIsRight . I'm just trying to make " Sven Saturday Night Movie Time " fun for all here . I know this movie was on about a year ago ( and I did post an announcement on this back then too ) but honestly now I don't remember this movie much or which actors were in it . Perhaps tonight's showing will somehow refresh my memory of it and if not then I guess it will be like a sort of new-ish movie to me anyway . I also have seen " Spider Baby " ( aka - " The Strangest Story Ever Told " ) not recently but a couple of years ago on FEARNET On-Demand and on the AMC ( American Movie Classics ) channel Website . Great film for it's time loved the music in it as well a wild popcorn flick for sure . Thanks VincentPriceIsRight for your reply .
I so agree VincentPriceIsRight . IMPO whoever at Comcast decided this made one of the worst decisions ever ( talk about greatly disappointing us fans of this " edge of our seats channel " ) . Just not right !
I'm glad to see other people enjoy Spider Baby as much as me. I really think that's my favorite B movie. The young woman in that movie does a great job for such a young actress. Lon Chaney really never had much of a shot to show what a good actor he could be. I think he got type cast based on his father's work.
BTW, I googled "The Son of Dracula" and I was disappointed because I didn't see your weekly "heads-up" thread. Then I realized that I was clicking on the 1974 version. "OWA TAGU SIAM".!
How foolish of me to think you'd let all of us down... Please accept my apologies.

Hello again Eddysfitzboy . I know what you mean it's real easy to confuse these movies cause of the same titles for other similar movies are used over and over again . I also had to re-check that before I posted this here too . I usually now go by the year of these movies and not just the title itself anymore . Thanks so much Eddysfitzboy for your kind words here too and your reply .
Watching it now and enjoying another horror movie on Svengoolie.
According to Louise Albritton's IMDB page, she and co- star Robert Paige played a lot of jokes on fellow cast members during the making of the movie. There is a scene where Pat Moriarity and Robert Paige flip open the coffin containing Louise's body. When they opened that coffin, there inside lay Louise, completely naked. That had to be a fun set to work on.
I just finished watching this movie and I must admit that it wasn't one of Sven's best efforts... I kinda wish they would have snuck the "naked" Louise into the finished product!

We will be watching it (again) tonight. I usually enjoy Chaney's roles.
We watched "Invisible Invaders" and "The Return of Dr. X" the other night on TCM. They were new movies for me. Invisible Invaders was worth watching. Tomorrow night is going to be another first: "Peeping Tom".
