paulette goddard fooled them all

so proudly we hail is my alltime favorite movie. the scenery the music the acting...sublime. veronica lake stepped up in this one and did a fine job. claudette always a pro. but miss paulette goddard stole the limelight. wow. often tagged just a personality and a pinup...she prouved everybody wrong. got a well deserved oscar bid as nurse joan o doul. i actually own a nurse unifrom she wore in the film...its proudly on my wall. she was pretty full of zest and very intelligent. sure the ending of so proudly..was a bit syrupy...but the whole movie prouved to be accurate and breathtaking. wish sonny tufts would have continued...he was actually quite good. thank you all rick
