Goddard was the STAR.

Paulette Goddard was my star in the movie. She acted in it as if the movie was modern in her antics she used. Saving her Marine boyfriend by knocking him back into the boat. She had all the funny parts & did them very well. She done the serious parts the same. She would my pick as the girl I would of married. She was a great looking all woman Army nurse in this movie & should of gotten awarded. She moved so youthful in it with her age. She was quite beautiful no matter what she wore & she was not all made up. A natural good looking nurse in war. She had the best I think. Miss her today she would of been great making movies in this era & she wouldn't have to change her hairdo or attire. Her little antics she done on her Marine BF, could of been done today. Thiis is how great she was, ahead of her time.
