The Soda Fountain Scene

I saw this on TV decades ago. I got hooked on the story after watching the opening scene, where the heroine is working at a department store soda fountain. She's complaining to a friend how boring and predictable her life is -- she could walk through it blindfolded. She means that literally: to prove her point, she puts on a blindfold and proceeds to make a milkshake!

This stunt gets her fired and starts a chain of events that could only happen in the movies. Gotta see it again. Stupid Netflix doesn't have it. I may just have to buy it.

That scene was brilliant and got me hooked, too. I liked how customers gathered around to watch her. Her new boss should've been happy that she was driving sales up

Cheese fries...next time.
