R1 DVD from VCI coming Oct. 18, 2011

VCI is releasing The Silver Fleet on DVD in North America on Oct. 18, 2011. Retail price is $19.95. This is another in the series of Rank films VCI has been busily releasing in the U.S. these past several months. Only a couple of modest extras, but VCI does a great job on its DVDs.

I've never seen this movie and know only a little about it, but it sounds very good and I'm looking forward to finally having it.
