Just 1 question (spoilers)

Jaqueline was hiding from the paladists by being inside a room in the cosmetic factory ran by one of them?
Of course it was hers in the past and there's the whole "under the nose" thing. But still, it looked strange.

PS: And why on horror movies people who are being followed by a murderer (and knowing they're being followed) always runs to the darkest and most hidden area of the city?
Just enter a freaking full bar and wait till morning.

Well, maybe Jacqueline believed she was hiding, but it's just as likely that the Palladists were holding her captive/keeping an eye on her, until they came to a decision on how to proceed with her.

The psychiatrist knows where she is. Late in the film, he takes Mary and (i think) the poet to retrieve her. Do they go to the cosmetic factory? I thought they went to a house? I'm still confused as to why she was in the factory when she stabbed the investigator . Same place, different entrance? Did she move after she killed the P.I? Am I just 'misremmembering' ?

The bad guys are holding her in the factory to keep her where they can get her once they decide what to do with her. When the detective comes into her locked room, she thinks she is in danger and stabs him. This leaves the door open and she flees. The bad guys come upon the body of the dead detective and get rid of it, also discovering that Jacqueline is gone. They then track her down again.

As for why don't victims do the obvious - because then there would be no movie.
