There were the machine guns on the tank, but they stayed on the tank. They got another one off of the German halftrack they shot up. But they still had one or two others, didn't they? Where did those come from?

The M3 could mount up to 4 machine guns (one was for mounting to the top rear of the turret, that one probably wasn't always carried).

One remained in the turret cupola but I assume they removed the others since there was no one left to fire them in the tank. The hull machine gun was blocked by the canvas anyway.
