Background Music Too Loud

At 20 minutes into the film, Billy the Kid "encounters" Rio McDonald for the first time.

The background music for this scene overwhelms the dialogue and doesn't "match" the mood of the scene, IMHO.

Had I directed this movie (and I'm definitely no expert at all), I would have selected better mood music and made the volume of it much lower.

Anyone agree with me?

I agree. The music often overwhelms the scene or is - IMO - sometimes poorly chosen. I think the movie would be improved with most of the music gone.

I agree with the poster above me. There's just waaaaay too much music throughout this entire movie. Every cute little action had to have that sad trombone right after it, like this was vaudeville or something. It's as if they thought that without the music, you wouldn't know how to feel about the last 10 seconds. Bleah.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.
