What do you think of 'One Ham's Family' (1943)?

This gets my vote for Tex Avery's worst cartoon. At one point, the piglet, who does a bad imitation of Red Skelton's Mean Widdle Kid, blows the Wolf out of the picture. He then turns to the audience and says, "Well, I cannot heckle the Wolf till he get back [sic]. I might as well heckle you people out there." He pulls out a chalkboard and scrapes the chalk across it for several moments. This pig beats out the Road Runner for the cartoon animal I most want to see killed and eaten.

Do you agree? Disagree? I notice this has a high IMDb rating ...

I like a bit of Christmas mayhem! Avery wasn't trying hard to make 'lovable', or even 'tolerable' characters, that's for sure. As for worst Avery cartoons, I'd have to lump the "--- of Tomorrow" series together for that honor.

I was surprised that Joe Adamson, Tex Avery's biographer, hated those ... of Tomorrow cartoons with a passion. I love them, but they are incredibly corny. When I thought about it, I realized how easily those could turn someone off. In fact, it's almost surprising that Tex Avery isn't more polarizing. At his worst, he can get on your nerves.
