'Maybe you live worse, if... '

One of my favorite moments in this film came when Gene Lockhart and Errol Flynn arrived at the rustic cabin in the snowy wilderness.
A dog tried to get at the food on the table, and Rose Dagor, played by Rose Higgins, shooed the dog away, then wiped off the plate with her shirt tail.
Gene Lockhart sneered and said, "These people live like swine."
The camera went to a close-up of Rose, and she replied, "Maybe you live worse, if things be same for you."
Touché, Rose! Right to the heart.

(Spoiler..... And as it turned out, Ernst couldn't even manage to live worse.)
