DVD release????

I don't understand why they release some of Cary Grant's worst movies on DVD and just "skip over" a great movie like this one (like it said, 2nd top grossing movie of 1943) and it's no where to be found! I don't get it!! This is a great movie with Laraine Day as a bonus. I still remember seeing this movie over 20 years ago but couldn't remember the name until I came to the IMDb website and found it. Please request this movie release on DVD through the RKO website!! You will love it-I promise!

I second that... it's a very enjoyable film and it deserves a DVD. Pronto!

Exactly. One of my favorite Mr.Lucky exchanges:

Joe: You don't like my tie?
Dorothy: Like it? I'm fascinated.

LMAO Cracks me up everytime.

It could be that there's no master - a lot of great movies were destroyed in various ways.

Other than that, I agree with all of you. This was one of my favorite Cary Grant movies and I'd love to have it on DVD.

As you probably know, many of Grant's films went into the public domain. Those are everywhere. Perhaps this film does not fall into that category. In which case there may be legal issues still to be ironed out with various parties. Too bad - you're right this is a fine film.

Thank you Turner Classic Movies!!

Mr. Lucky is not public domain/out of copyright. Maybe that's a good thing, because most public domain movies are poor copy dvds. I am guessing that this will be released as part of a special set.

I have it in a set with 'Suspicion' and something else. What was his first film with Katherine Hepburn? That's the one. So it must be available somewhere? Unfortunately it was a gift so I don't know where to get it.

I'm wondering about the quality...I'd love to see this film. Laraine was great in Foreign Correspondent, so I've been eager to see her in other films.
