Jean Arthur and Charles Coburn, superb together -- again.

If you liked this and haven't seen The Devil and Miss Jones (1941), find it and enjoy. JA's chemistry with her beau in Devil isn't particularly memorable, but the movie is great nonetheless.

Great suggestion and great film! I came to the forum to find something similar to 'The More the Merrier' and your post was just what I wanted to see.

Paramount (in their beneficence) has made the film available for free on youtube (here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=muf5-cAFhdo).

Can't recommend enough!

I enjoy "The Devil and Miss Jones", but not nearly as much as "Merrier."
As for chemistry, I think Robert Cummings and Arthur made a great
couple. Cummings was very good in the film.
