Pure slop

This is about the worst film made in the 1940's, even the East Side Kid comdies, George Zucco horror films and Ma and Pa Kettle are a million times better than this slop-was this film what caused the House on UnAmerican activities to get started up? Walter Huston's role reminded me of the apologetic nitwits we have running the US today, placating the likes of dictators.
