Albert Lewin's Directorship

What was the extent of his contribution to this film as Director, for which he is uncredited, and Mervyn Leroy receives sole credit?

Thanks, Skodowskova. Lewin had a long and versatile career otherwise, especially fine IMO in his work on "Pandora" and "Dorian Gray". One wonders if, with his participation, "Curie" would have been as fine as it is. LeRoy was more of a "studio man", and his body of work more prolific, and distinguished if perhaps less esoteric (would Lewin have stood for the blunted ending imposed on "The Bad Seed", for example?).
