My goodness I hate that word...but Madame Curie's life BEGS to be redone and to be done without the inaccuracies and melodrama. (I do love this movie, though...)

I propose to cast Meryl Streep as the great scientist. I believe she would be ideal and superb in this.

Her talent is being wasted with fluff lately. Perhaps it's he choice. But she has denied the world of her enormous talent in greater realms for much too long.

Gosh, Meryl Streep would be fabulous as Madame Curie. I wouldn't look at it so much as a re-make as a new biopic, though. Either way, I doubt there would be any less inaccuracies than this film. Unfortunately, Hollywood very rarely concerns itself with accuracy.

AUDREY! THANKS FOR THE PUSH! Madame Curie really begs for an awesome biopic and with Meryl's command of foreign accents, it would be fabulous! We need to get Katherine Hepburn off her perch already! hahaha -
