WOW! Just watched this classic!

I remember as a child watching a Lassie tv show--I would go up to the tv at the end when Lassie faced the camera with her paw out and I would pretend to shake it. LOL

I just watched this because I unearthed some WWII letters from my father to my mother in which he wrote that he and his platoon mates went to see this while in Australia during the war.

I was really blown away not only by the beauty but the lovely story and actors--and what a treat seeing Elizabeth Taylor as a young child and Roddy McDowall.

I also loved seeing the little dog Toots.

SO HEARTWARMING!
