Outstanding movie

I have loved this movie since I was a kid. A great study of how ordinary men are thrust into extraordinary circumstances and must perservere or die. Fonda does an outstanding job. There is a very young Peter Lawford playing a bit part here too. If you like war movies, you'll like this one, it's right up there with Sahara as one of the great North Afrikan campaign movies.
