#1 Zombie Film Ever

Cinefantastique picked this as one of the Top Ten Zombie films. Don't think many will argue with that. Read the list here: http://cinefantastiqueonline.com/2008/02/16/top-ten-zombie-films-plus- one-or-two

It probably is the best zombie movie, since I consider movies such as "Night of the Living Dead" really ghoul flicks instead.

No blah, blah, blah!

I agree. I've been wanting to see this film for ages. and tonight I finally did the chance to watch it. It did not disappoint! Very atmospheric, and has some truly "scary" (creepy?) moments.
Of the slew of Zombie movies of the 30's 40's and 50's I agree that I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE is the best I have seen so far.

Otherwise I must say that of the modern Zombie movies, George A Romero's 1968 NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is pretty good, and 28 DAYS LATER is already a classic of it's genre.

Agreed. Maybe should be labelled as the #1 classic zombie movie.

Zombie films have never interested me, including Night of the Living Dead. But IWWAZ is far more than just a zombie film. The cinematography and lighting make this one of my favorite films of any type.

It’s the only zombie film that’s worth a damn. The director was a genius.
