Do people still use the word 'grip' to mean a suitcase?

Early in this film, Abbott harasses Costello by making him pack and then unpack their "grip," i.e. suitcase, over and over.

Do people still call a suitcase a "grip"?

In an episode of the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Will told Hillary and Carlton to get a grip and they both grabbed for Carlton's suitcase.

I use it from time to time when I'm trying to be funny.

Oh, that is funny!

My Dad grew up in the 30's and 40's. He still calls a small suitcase a "grip".
