$500 bracelet

Was the $500 bracelet for another woman...perhaps the beautiful young lady he was seen with at tea one afternoon? Reason I ask, Henry is never shown as being a real cad, and His Excellency deems him not bad enough for eternal hell (though I did note he mentioned the ladies in heaven waiting to greet him).
I loved this movie, just couldn't decide
on Henry's true self.
