My mother in law is almost 80, suffered 2 heart attacks and is sadly not in the best of health. She remembers vividly seeing this film on its release.
It made such an impact that she joined what was then the ATS ( womens army )
I would dearly love to buy it so she can re-live old memories but have tried in vain
If anybody knows where I get can a VHS copy I will be very grateful

I know this is a bit late but this film is now showing on Film4.

Beat me to it Choober. I've seen it on Amazon priced at around £15.
