I like it better than 'Casablanca'

It doesn't get any better than this. POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD!

Rosalind Russell in a fictionalized version of the Amelia Earhart story. It hasn't been shown on TV in 15 years or 20 years and isn't available on VHS or DVD. There is hardly anybody alive anymore who has seen it or remembers it but it will tear your heart out.

Made during WWII with Fred MacMurray, it's romantic, funny, patriotic, and ultimately a tear jerker if you remember how Earhart ended up. For me, it's as good as "Casablanca", except better because Russell is in it. Like "Casablanca", at the end of "Flight for Freedom" the two romantic leads can't be together, and as disappointing as that is, it makes the ending unforgettable.

And Russell is great in "Auntie Mame", "The Women" and "His Girl Friday" 3 very showy parts, but as Tonie Carter, aviatrix, in "Flight for Freedom", she was never more magical.

AMC was the last place I saw it but that was a long time ago.
