Possible Spoiler - The best monologues in a US wartime film

John Wayne had some good ones but Cary Grant's "roller skates" monologue which basically referred back to the death of a beloved crew member has them beat. The writer did a fantastic job thinking it up, and Grant did a masterful job of recounting it. Sure it's propaganda but that's the way things are in the middle of a war.
