Nancy Kelly's Performance

She kind of reminded me a bit of Barbara Stanwyck (you know, that 'hard-boiled', quick talking, snappy comeback kind of character she often played). I kept thinking I knew her from another film - I suspected it was 'The Bad Seed' and after checking I saw it was. Wow, a totally different character/style of acting required for her Christine Penmark character in 'The Bad Seed').
