ALTERNATE COLOR FOOTAGE

I'm aware that Ford originally shot much of the footage in color, but later printed and/or re-shot it in black and white because it looked "too Hollywood" to blow up Pearl Harbor in color.

Clips of the color footage have turned up in documentaries about December 7th and Ford's filming of it.

My question is whether or not the color footage was re-cycled into THIS IS THE ARMY, since that film also depicts the attack on Pearl Harbor in color. The footage bears a strong resemblence to what Ford's crew shot.
