Do you really think that's Daffy Duck?

There's a small cartoony controversy over whether the little black duck in the second segment is our little black duck, the one we all know and love.

I used to be against the idea on the grounds that it never would have occurred to me that he was Daffy if he hadn't been listed as such in the cartoon history books.

But I'm changing my mind. Who knew Daffy had an origin story?

Yeah, I'm coming around to the idea that he's Daffy. What else would Daffy have looked like when he was a duckling?

You're right, the animators did do a good job on baby Bugs and baby Elmer in Old Grey Hare.

They did a good job on grampa Bugs and grampa Elmer, too. I hope if someone makes "The Geriatric Looney Tunes" they look to Old Grey Hare.

I wonder how many of the Warner Bros. characters we've seen in old age. I remember one where Foghorn Leghorn and the dog, now friends, were at a rest home discussing old times.
