great adaption

Wonderfully charming adaption of the extremely addictive Rose Franken novels.

Dorothy plays the part brilliantly and Robert Young is a pretty suave David.

The radio soap opera version from the 40s (available in it's entire 18 month run of five 15 min daily episodes) is utterly addictive and the portrayals by Kathryn Bard and Paul Crabtree are perfect.

This is a close second.
