Lewis Wilson in Professionals

I saw the episode of the Professionals tonight that features Lewis Wilson in the role of "Old P.C."

I'm not convinced this is the same man who played Batman in 1943. While he would be around the right age, and at a stretch even resmbles this Lewis Wilson, his voice was just not right, sounding too light (and of course not American, but that could be put on).

Does anyone have any information on Lewis' latter days? Would he really have been working in England at that time?

I'm not familiar with "Professionals", though I did find this British TV series here on imdb, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075561/fullcredits#cast from 1977, but no listing of a Lewis Wilson.

Our Lewis Wilson's last appearance (according to imdb) was as a Border Patrol officer in 'Naked Alibi' (1954) (uncredited), and he died August 9, 2000.
