1950s Batman radio show...

"The Batman Mystery Club"--here you go:

However, that actor doesn't sound anything like Batman/Bruce Wayne to my ears!

Too bad only two episodes were broadcasted, and then the show went off the airwaves... []

I remember that Batman showed up a couple of times in the Superman radio show, but I'd never heard that he had one of his own. Are you sure this is accurate?

reply

I think he did have his own broadcast, but I guess this one is the only surviving episode. My mistake!

I just checked the "Batman In Other Media" article on Wikipedia and this is what was said about Radio:

"Beginning in March 1945, Batman and Robin made regular appearances on the Superman radio drama on the Mutual Broadcasting System. Efforts were made to launch a Batman radio series in 1943 and again in 1950, but neither came to fruition."
