I'd like to see a new movie (or TV show) in this style
Before anyone flys off the handle I don't mean the villain should be japanese stereotype. What I mean is it should be rooted in the pulps that this character is based on. Burton did this in the first two films to an extent, but I'd like to see something even closer. For instance the costume. Sure it was baggy, and Lewis Wilson was a little fat but I like the wool suit with the bat in the middle, and dark cape. It would be a departure from the "rubber-made" Batman. Plus I'd like to see more attention to him being a detective which the new films don't seem to explore. I also really like the pace of this serial. The fight scenes kinda stink cause Batman gets his ass handed to him, but the chase scenes etc... are exciting! You also never get that touch of sci-fi anymore like in the serials. Dr. Daka's zombie ray is actually pretty neat. I think this films a lot of fun. Especially if your not some douchey P.C twit and understand the period it was shot. I just don't think D.C makes fun comic book films anymore. They all have to be "dark". Or Superman has to be emo, I really miss the period of the late 80's early 90's when comic films were fun, and set in a beautiful art deco world. I never get that feeling of awe anymore with D.C comic book films.
