Question about Chapter 2

When I watched Chapter 2 of BATMAN on TCM, it was obvious the ending was edited. Batman fell off the wire and then it faded to black and said "A Columbia Serial." All the other chapters did a little spin-around effect, asked questions about the next chapter, and gave you the title of the upcoming episode. I'm curious if there was just some damage in their copy, or if the serial made some super-offensive Japanese slur that TCM couldn't bring themselves to air. If anyone out there has a copy of the uncut Chapter 2, could you please tell me what it was they said or did to preview the next chapter? Thank you in advance.

Hey brimfin it has nothing to do with any slur cause they left everything else in the problem is the footage got damaged cause if you have the dvd its the same way which sucks yet the goodtime tape has the missing footage but it has the dub audio on it.
